Reactint® colorant is a unique product developed by Milliken Chemical Company for coloring polyurethane and other thermosetting resins.

Reactint® colorants are reactive polymeric colorants containing coloring groups grafted to polyols. This allows Reactint® colorants to participate in the polymerization reaction of polyurethane.

Reactint® colorants are the most widely used polyurethane coloring system in the world. Unlike pigment pastes, which are solid dispersions in the liquid phase, Reactint® colorants are 100% homogeneous liquids that are soluble in polyols and will not stratify or flocculate over time. and subsidence.

Thanks to the nature of this pure liquid, when producing polyurethane foam or resin, Reactint® can be mixed online with other raw materials such as polyols, and color matching and color changes can be performed without stopping the production during production. Polyurethane manufacturers only need five basic Reactint® colors to easily create any color.

Color association

• Green = fresh, refreshing and naturally pleasant

• Pink = Feeling relaxed and seductive

• Purple = exotic and energetic

• Blue = Vibrant and gorgeous

• Orange = optimism, joy and energy

Industry Identification

• Reduce the gap

• Density recognition

Benefits of using color

• Covers stains, yellowing and surface damage

• Coordinate product and packaging colors

• Products can be identified visually

• Consumers can associate color with product value

Why use Reactint ® colorants?

Better color…better cost-effectiveness

• High color intensity

Significantly 3 to 5 times higher than pigments

• High cost performance

Our color matching experts can create the color you need in the most economical way.

• Reduce transitions caused by color switching High solubility can shorten color switching intervals

• Improve product quality

Eliminates problems common with high dosage levels of pigments (such as voids, cracks, and delayed onset)

• Reduce color material inventory

Virtually any desired color can be made from just a few (3 to 5) Reactint® primary colors.

• Eliminate inventory of discarded products

According to customer needs, we can customize the colors required by customers at any time. Better pigments…better product appearance and quality

• Deeper and more vivid color effects

High addition levels can be added to achieve deep color effects without affecting the physical properties of the soft foam or resin.

• Colorless migration and color precipitation

Reactint® participates in the reaction of polyurethane regardless of its color. And can be locked in the system and will not precipitate.

• Reduce cracking and pinholes

This low viscosity, high solubility colorant product helps reduce cracking that occurs in polyurethane production

• Reduce anxiety

Reactint® colorants do not contain harmful heavy metals (such as copper, iron, chromium, etc.) and will not cause anxiety.

• Has no effect on polyurethane systems

Reactint® polymeric colorants become part of the polyurethane resin. They contain no solids, will not nucleate or cause cracking or pinholes, and they have minimal impact on catalyst loading or sponge foaming.

Why use Reactint ® colorants?

Better pigments…better manufacturing processes and ease of use

• Easy to clean

Soluble in cold water

• No special stirring required

A liquid that is homogeneous and soluble in polyol and will not precipitate.

• Easy to pump and meter

Low viscosity and high surface tension make Reactint® colorants an easy-to-use color system at room temperature.

• Reduce equipment loss

Unlike pigments, these liquid colorants are non-abrasive and will not damage or wear pumps, nozzles, tank liners, etc.

• Diversity

The same Reactint® colorants can be used in both polyester and polyether systems.

• Product stability

For each batch of products, Milliken adheres to the highest operating standards and complies with ISO9001 and 14001 certified product facilities to produce products with high quality stability and first-class quality.

• Takes up less space

Only 5 main colors are needed to match all other colors.

Pigment pastes will delaminate or settle REACTINT® colorants will not delaminate or settle

Added to polyols. Our values

We always believe that prosperity must coexist with responsibility. From the early twentieth century when we loaned money to rebuild textile mills destroyed by natural disasters, to the Great Depression when our capital often served as the sole industrial backbone and job security for a small city, to our current adoption of policies that were decades ahead of the market. Sustainable development of business methods, always upholding higher goals and a future-oriented vision when conducting business.

Employment guarantee, so far we have adopted a sustainable development management method that is decades ahead of the market, and always adhere to higher goals and a future-oriented vision when conducting business.
