Silicone sealant is a paste made from polydimethylsiloxane as the main raw material, supplemented by cross-linking agents, fillers, plasticizers, coupling agents and catalysts in a vacuum state. At room temperature, it solidifies with water in the air to form elastic silicone rubber.
Neutral silicone sealant is a single-component, high-modulus, neutral-curing multi-purpose sealant. Suitable for all kinds of interior decoration and decoration; general sealing of glass, non-oil-permeable wood, aluminum, plastic steel and other materials. The substrate must be tested for adhesion, compatibility and contamination before use. The effectiveness of the product depends on the specific substrate and method of use.
[Construction Storage]
Special tools must be used for the construction of silicone structural sealant.
The construction environment should be well-lit, clean, and have fire prevention, explosion-proof, dust-proof and other measures.
The construction environment temperature is generally not lower than 10℃ and the relative humidity is not lower than 30%.
Check the production date, certificate of conformity, inspection report, glue joint verification report, compatibility and adhesion test report of the structural adhesive one by one. The product should meet the standards and curtain wall design requirements.
Silicone sealants should be stored in a cool, dry place between 4 and 27 degrees Celsius; the shelf life is within 6 months from the date of production.
