Bifonazole

Bifonazole cream is a milky white or slightly yellow cream. Each gram contains 10 mg of bifonazole as the main ingredient. The excipients are stearic acid, glyceryl monostearate, liquid paraffin, stearyl alcohol, and sulfonate. Disk 60, glycerin, emulsified silicone oil, potassium lauryl phosphate, purified water. It is a broad-spectrum antifungal drug, and its dosage forms include creams, gels, suppositories, etc. Used to treat superficial skin fungal infections, such as tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea versicolor, cutaneous candidiasis, etc.


Clinical Application

Clinically, there are many diseases with similar symptoms to vitiligo, such as tinea versicolor, commonly known as sweat spots, which is a superficial fungal disease caused by Malassezia furfur infecting the epidermal stratum corneum. The stratum corneum contains nutrients that fungi need to grow. Bifonazole cream is a common treatment for sweat spots.

Bifonazole cream is suitable for dermatomycosis caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, molds and other skin fungi such as Pityrosporum furfur, as well as infections caused by Corynebacterium parvum. Such as: tinea pedis, tinea manuum, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea versicolor, epidermal candidiasis, the curative effect is remarkable.

Notes

It is worth noting that when using this product, pain and peripheral edema may occur at the application site, as well as contact dermatitis, allergic dermatitis, erythema, itching, rash, urticaria, blistered peeling, eczema, dry skin, Skin and subcutaneous tissue discomfort such as skin tingling, skin maceration, and burning sensation. These adverse reactions are reversible after discontinuation of the drug.

In view of the sensitive skin of patients with vitiligo, if you have symptoms such as athlete’s foot or tinea versicolor, you must be under the guidance of a doctor when using drugs.
