Application of ferrocene methanol methacrylate_Industrial additives

Overview[1]

Ferrocene methanol methacrylate is a ferrocene derivative. Ferrocene and its derivatives are organic transition metal small molecule compounds with aromatic properties. They are chemically stable and can be used as fuel smoke suppressants or burning rate regulators, photosensitizers, stabilizers, and high-polymer materials. Improvers, etc., widely used.

Apply[1]

Peroxidase is a type of oxidoreductase that uses HO as an electron acceptor to catalyze the oxidation of substrates. Like other natural enzymes, peroxidase has shortcomings such as high price, poor stability, easy deactivation and denaturation, and harsh incubation conditions, which greatly limits its practicality. Therefore, simulated enzymes with catalytic activity similar to natural enzymes have extremely significant research value and application prospects.

The application of ferrocene and its derivatives as peroxidase mimetic enzymes includes the following steps:

Mix ferrocene or its derivatives, peroxidase substrate solution and HO solution, adjust the pH to 1.5 to 4.5, incubate the reaction, and dialyze to obtain the catalytic product. The peroxidase substrate may be selected from 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB), aniline or o-phenylenediamine (diethanolamine OPD). The ferrocene derivative may be selected from ferrocene methanol methacrylate, vinyl ferrocene, hydroxymethyl ferrocene, aminoferrocene, etc.

Compared with existing peroxidase mimetic enzymes, the present invention has the following advantages:

(1) Compared with natural peroxidases such as horseradish peroxidase, ferrocene and its derivatives are cheaper and more chemically stable;

(2) Ferrocene and its derivatives are used as peroxidase mimetic enzymes. Their optimal pH is 3.0, the optimal HO concentration is 100mM, and the optimal temperature is 75°C. They are in phase with horseradish peroxidase. Compared with (optimum pH is 4.0, optimal HO concentration is 1.5mM, and optimal temperature is 55°C), ferrocene and its derivatives have better tolerance to acidity, high temperature, and high concentration of HO, and are more suitable for use Synthesis of polyaniline;

(3) Ferrocene and its derivatives are used as peroxidase mimic enzymes to catalyze the polymerization of aniline to prepare polyaniline, which is time-consuming, low-cost, high-yield and high-purity product.
