Chemical method refers to the method of surface modification of powder fillers by using various surface modifiers or chemical reactions, collectively called chemical method. This is also the most common treatment method for cosmetic powder pigments. Usually the function of surface treatment agent is to adsorb on the surface of polar powder particles. The polar end of the surface treatment agent molecules points to the powder particles, while the non-polar “tail” end points to the oily medium. It is between the two. It plays an interface connection role similar to a bridge, coupling two substances with different polarities and poor compatibility, thereby enhancing the mutual assistance between the polymer matrix and the filler and improving the performance of the product.
