Generally, water-based paint paste is produced by mixing pigments and additives in proportion and then grinding them at high speed using water as the medium. Good quality water-based colorants have certain requirements for colorant fineness, colorant viscosity, wettability and pH environment, which is beneficial to the storage stability of the colorant. However, if the water-based color paste is in direct contact with the air for a long time, it will cause the loss of water in the color paste, causing the stability of the pigment particles and additives in the color paste to be destroyed and stuck together, resulting in the phenomenon of drying and crusting of the color paste.
