Introduction to the classification and application areas of water-based colour pastes
Water-based colour pastes are a type of colour paste, which plays a very important role in furniture decoration. Water-based colour pastes are used in a particularly wide range of applications across all colouring sectors, including for printing, latex, textile, paint, paper and other industries, mainly serving the paint industry. Water-based colour pastes are also divided into many different types and have different uses.
Types of water-based colour pastes
1、Water-based paint pastes
The product is made of high quality pigments and additives, its texture is uniform, full of colour, stable quality, good compatibility with various water-based systems, high weather resistance and strong colouring power, good environmental protection, low VOC content, widely used in interior and exterior wall emulsion paint, water-based acrylic magnetic paint, water-based polyurethane paint, water-based epoxy paint, water-based polyester paint, etc.
2、Waterborne wood paint colour paste
The product adopts resin-free formula and is developed by using water as solvent. The pigment has good transparency, small particle size, stable colour and storage stability, low VOC content and good environmental friendliness. It is suitable for the colouring of waterborne wood paints of various waterborne polyester, waterborne alkyd, waterborne acrylic and waterborne polyurethane systems.
3、Colour paste for latex
This product is a water-based colour paste with high colouring power, low viscosity and good fluidity, which is carefully developed using high quality pigments and additives. It has good compatibility with natural latex, nitrile latex, neoprene latex and synthetic resins, and is ideal for factory colouring of various latex products.
4、Paper colouring paste
It has small particle size, excellent storage stability and is safe and environmentally friendly. It is compatible with all kinds of pulp fibres and auxiliaries and has high retention and colouring strength.
5、Water-based leather colour paste
The product has bright colours, good colouring power, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance and other chemical media, good compatibility with various types of water-based leather resin, used for surface colouring of various leathers, bright colour, and good air permeability and environmental protection.
6、Tape colour paste
This product is a water-based tape colouring product developed from selected pigments and auxiliaries with scientific formulations, which is suitable for colouring various types of tapes, with strong colouring power, good storage stability, good compatibility with various pressure-sensitive adhesives, and does not affect the peeling strength of tapes, stickiness, low-speed unwind strength and other properties.
7、Colorful paint coloring paste
The product is made of high quality raw materials and special technology, with good stability, no flocculation, no colour bleeding, safe and environmentally friendly, the main colours are iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, iron oxide black, made of water-in-water colourful paint with particle size distribution and other characteristics, with a very high degree of simulation of natural granite.
8、Water-based electrophoretic paint colour paste
This product is specially applied to the water-based electrophoresis paint of high quality and environmental protection colour paste. The average particle size is less than 1 micron, and the distribution is even, with good storage stability. It has good compatibility with all kinds of electrophoretic paints and has little influence on the electrical conductivity of the tank liquid. The product has good light resistance, weather resistance, chemical resistance and insulation, and high colouring strength.
Four major areas of application for water-based colour pastes
The first major field of application of water-based colour pastes: colouring of architectural and industrial paints! Interior and exterior emulsion paint colouring, cement concrete, water-based anti-corrosion coatings, water-based wood paint, water-based metal paint, some oil to water functional coatings, all use water-based colour paste products!
The second major field of application of water-based colour pastes: textile printing and dyeing. This is one of the larger markets for the application of water-based paint printing pastes and paint dyeing water-based pastes. Screen printing pastes can be used for circular screen printing, flat screen printing, tabletop hand printing; some high performance pastes can also be used for gum paste printing, water paste printing, flocking printing, non-woven printing.
