9. Water is the foaming agent, fully environmentally friendly Self-skin foam

HCFC-141b blowing agent has been completely banned in foreign countries. CP blowing agents are flammable. HFC-245fa and HFC-365mfc blowing agents are expensive and unacceptable. The only way out is to use water as a blowing agent to synthesize environmentally friendly self-bonding skin foam. In the past, PU workers at home and abroad only paid attention to the modification of polyether and isocyanate, so the surface layer of the produced foam was unclear and dense.

A set of formulas is recommended, which features:

  • The basic polyether polyol remains unchanged, and the conventional Mn5000 or 6000 is used. ·

  • The isocyanate remains unchanged, and C-MDI, PAPI or modified MDI can be used.

  • It can be solved by using special additive SH-140. ·

Basic recipe:

  • Highly active polyether triol Mn5000 65pbw

  • SH-140* 35pbw

  • Chain Extender: 1,4-Butanediol 5pbw

  • Cross-linking agent: glycerin 7pbw

  • Cell opener: K-6530 0.2~0.5pbw

  • Catalyst A-2 1.2~1.3pbw

  • Proper amount of color paste

  • Water 5pbw

  • MR-200 45pbw
