The selection of a light stabilizer should not only consider its light-stabilizing efficiency, but also fully consider the mutual promotion of additives such as good compatibility with the resin, low volatility, and anti-extraction. At present, the light stabilizers commonly used in China and on agricultural films mainly include ultraviolet absorbers and free radical scavengers.
Ultraviolet chemical structure, ultraviolet absorbers can be divided into salicylate, benzophenone, benzotriazole; free radical scavengers are mainly hindered amines. during development. We have selected highly efficient hindered amine light stabilizers from the perspective of chemical structure. They can be seen as derivatives of steric barriers, one of their mechanisms of action is the capture of free radicals. In this process, hindered amine acts as a stable nitroxide radical: in addition, it has the functions of decomposing hydroperoxides, quenching singlet oxygen and quenching chromophores.
The requirements of light stabilizers for film products should not only consider their protection efficiency, but also their migration in the polymer to avoid loss due to volatile migration and leaching. In the case of the same concentration of light stabilizer and the same basic resin, several hindered amine light stabilizers were screened out according to the Xenon lamp aging test. Considering the non-drip function in the practical application of the greenhouse film, this experiment adds the same variety and content of the non-drip agent. The aging experiments were divided into two groups. The photo stabilizer film thickness of group A is 0.2%, the light stabilizer content of group B is 0.22%, and the film thickness is 0.08mm.
