Polyurethane used in industrial tires minimizes wear and puncture costs

At concrete and aggregate recycling sites, concrete and asphalt are crushed to produce recycled aggregates, which are reused in the construction industry as roadbed or building foundation base materials. As a result, aggregate recycling operators face forced loader shutdowns, costly tire replacements and reduced production, or even significant operational downtime.

He felt that Argonics’ expertise in high-performance polyurethane elastomers was well suited to construction machinery applications and came up with a preliminary design.
