BASF’s MDI plant at a U.S. factory will double production capacity

German chemical giant BASF recently announced that it will expand and transform the 300,000-ton MDI unit at its Geismar, Louisiana plant to double its production capacity. The plan is expected to be officially launched in 2020 and will last about five years.
