GENIOSIL® XT50 and GENIOSIL® Adhesives and sealants formulated with GENIOSIL®
GENIOSIL®XT offers the market for the first time a product option that can completely technically replace traditional polyurethane-based systems. The properties of these new polymers make them particularly suitable for applications that must constantly withstand high dynamic loads, such as vibrations in vehicles and ambient temperature changes in residential industrial assemblies. Products formulated with GENIOSIL® XT offer a wider range of adhesive properties than polyurethane systems and are isocyanate-free.
GENIOSIL®XT has low viscosity, so it can also have excellent processing properties under low temperature conditions. These binders can be used with or without the addition of plasticizers or fillers, the product mixture can be arbitrarily dyed, and the resulting materials, depending on the formulation, can adhere to many common substrates such as metal, glass, cement, glazing Ceramic tiles, wood, polycarbonate, polymethyl methacrylate, etc. do not need to apply interface agent when using. The above polymers can also be blended with various silane-terminated polyethers under the GENIOSIL® brand, giving blend manufacturers great freedom in combining properties in product formulations.
GENIOSIL®XT50 for environmentally friendly adhesives
GENIOSIL® It can make the product tensile strength as high as about 9N/mm2 and tear resistance as high as about 50N/mm (ASTMD624B-91 measurement standard). In addition, GENIOSIL® XT50 can be produced without the use of fillers into transparent, tin-free end products with excellent mechanical properties.
GENIOSIL®XT55 for low modulus, high resilience building sealants
GENIOSIL® It also has high tear strength and resilience and can be recoated. Therefore, this polymer is particularly suitable for the production of low-modulus, high-resilience construction and industrial sealants for sealing applications such as residential industrial assembly and automotive windshield installation.
WACKER® GM alcohol-based neutral silicone sealant

These WACKER brand stick glues have low VOC content and do not contain methyl ethyl ketoxime, a possible carcinogen, and have excellent environmental performance.
Wacker® GM is a one-component, low-modulus, alcohol-neutral silicone sealant that has excellent adhesion to common daily substrates, such as glass, wood, ceramic tiles, etc. (plastics The base material must be tested for compatibility) to achieve a good sealing effect. Its shelf life can be up to 15 months. WACKER® GM is non-corrosive to metals and can also be used to bond and seal mirrors. This alcohol-based neutral sealant has low VOC content (<1%) and almost no odor. It does not release the pungent smell of traditional ketoxime-based sealants, so it is especially suitable for odorless interior decoration.
WACKER® SN Alcohol-type Mildew-Resistant Silicone Sealant
Wacker® SN is a high-performance, alcohol-type neutral silicone seal. It has excellent anti-mold and anti-bacterial capabilities. It has passed the most stringent anti-mold test in China and reached the zero-level anti-mold standard (GB /T1741-2007), it is therefore particularly suitable for all joints between building structural components and sanitary equipment, as well as any occasion where building materials need to be protected from water damage and mold infestation.
At the same time, WACKER® SN is an alcohol-based neutral sealant that does not release pungent odor and has low VOC content (<1%).
WACKER’s GENIOSIL® XT is a transparent silane-terminated polymer. Materials formulated with this new adhesive can have both high tear strength and elasticity after curing. It can replace traditional polyurethane-based systems in applications that must constantly withstand high dynamic loads. Compared to polyurethane systems, the use of GENIOSIL®XT formulates products with broader adhesive properties and is isocyanate-free.
