HS colorant for solvent based polyurethane coatings
Colorants with high solid content are high-performance colorants for polyurethane. Compared with thermosetting acrylic acid with low solid content, the content of volatile organic compounds (VOC) is low.
These colorants are ideal for applications where outdoor durability or chemical resistance requirements limit the use of generic colorants.
This series of colorants are prepared in hydroxy functional acrylic acid media with maximum loading capacity. The pigments used in this series provide excellent light resistance for outdoor applications, while the mid-range pigments provide excellent light resistance for durable coatings for indoor applications.
HS colorants have low viscosity but thixotropy, which makes them resistant to sedimentation or dehydration shrinkage. Methylpentyl ketone solvent can ensure a long packaging life and avoid caking and drying in open containers or dispersion equipment.
