Application and Toxicity of Phosphorus_Industrial Additives

Methophos is a colorless and transparent liquid, with a solubility in water of 750 mg/L (25°C) and soluble in most organic solvents; vapor pressure 4.66×10-2pa (26°C); stable in acidic solutions; Decomposes rapidly in alkaline medium; has good stability to light and temperature, no decomposition for 12 weeks at 50°C, and no decomposition for 8 hours at 150°C.

Toxicity

According to the Chinese Pesticide Toxicity Classification Standard, difenfosin is a highly toxic insecticide and nematicide. The original drug is LD5026 mg/kg for rat oral administration, acute dermal LD50226 mg, and acute inhalation LC50249 mg/m3. It is harmful to aquatic organisms. It is highly toxic to animals, moderately toxic to bees and highly toxic to birds; within the test dose, it has no teratogenic, mutagenic or carcinogenic effects on animals.

Features

The main insecticidal mechanism of methotrexate is to inhibit the activity of acetylcholinesterase. Its main mode of action is contact killing and has good intraosmosis. Therefore, as long as the pesticide comes into contact with the insect body, especially when the larvae molt Its medicinal effect can be fully exerted after starting activities; but there is no fumigation and obvious systemic effect.

Objectives of prevention and control

A variety of nematodes and grubs, mole crickets, gold inorganic pigment needleworms, cutworms, gall maggots and rice gall mosquitoes, etc.

Application technology

1. To prevent and control rice gall mosquitoes (green onion) in paddy fields, use 1-1.2 kilograms of 10% granules per mu in the seedlings from the needle-standing stage to the one-leaf-one-heart stage; in Honda, 7-10 days before transplanting, the dose per mu is Mix an appropriate amount of fine sediment and spread it evenly, and maintain a water layer when applying;

2. To control peanut root-knot nematodes, use 2-3 kilograms of 10% granules per mu. Spread the mixed soil in the sowing ditch or hole, cover it with soil before sowing, and finally cover it with soil to avoid direct contact between the agent and the seeds to avoid the occurrence of pesticides. Harm;

3. To control citrus nematodes, use 5-8 kilograms of 10% granules per mu, mix evenly with the surface land within the irrigation line around the fruit trees, and then irrigate. The size of the application range can be based on the size of the crown and the development of the roots. The degree can be flexibly controlled;

4. To control underground pests such as sugarcane grubs, use 3-4 kg of 10% granules mixed with an appropriate amount of fine soil and apply it in the sowing trench. You can also apply the granules mixed with soil evenly to the stems of sugarcane seedlings, and then Build soil;

5. To control tobacco nematodes and underground pests, apply pesticides in strips. 4-6 kg of 10% granules per mu should be spread in the sowing ditch within one week before sowing (the pesticide can be applied before base fertilizer is applied) and then Mix the topsoil;

6. To control soybean nematodes, use 2-4 kg of 10% granules. Spread into the sowing trench within a week before sowing or during sowing, and cover with soil before sowing.

Poisoning rescue

The main symptoms of methotrexate poisoning include chest tightness, sweating, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, miosis, etc. If ingested by accident, the patient should be given 1-2 glasses of water immediately, and the throat should be touched with a finger to induce vomiting; However, do not feed anything to a comatose patient and seek medical attention immediately; the effective antidote for this product is atropine and pralidoxime.

Notes

1. Some crops are sensitive to methotrexate and therefore cannot come into contact with seeds;

2. If swallowed by mistake, take a spoonful of salt to induce vomiting; if it splashes on the skin, rinse with soapy water for a long time; if it splashes into the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately. ;

3. This drug is toxic to fish and other aquatic animals and birds, so avoid contaminating rivers, ponds and other non-target areas;

4. Medications should be stored away from housing, food and out of reach of children.
