Triphenylphosphonium_industrial additive

Triphenylphosphine Also known as triphenylphosphine, it is a special synergist for malathion and has good adhesion to ink. The accelerator carboxylesterase and the epoxide hydrolase of Calliphoridae larvae homogenate have inhibitory effects. It has synergistic effect on a few organic phosphorus such as fenitrothion, but has no synergistic effect on most pesticides. When triphenylphos and malathion are mixed, they can be effective against both resistant and sensitive strains of most insects; however, they are not effective against resistant strains of a few pests such as rice weevils, but are only effective against sensitive strains. Triphenylphosphonate is not irritating to rat skin and does not accumulate after entering the body. . Pure triphenylphosphonate does not show delayed neurotoxic plastic elastomer symptoms in animals. Triphenylphosphonate is completely absorbed and degraded by trout in 72 hours in water; while goldfish absorbs it slowly and can accumulate it in the body for a long time. Fish whose abdomens were distended but not dead in the triphenylphos treatment recovered faster than those treated with tributyphos and grew normally, whereas fish that recovered in the methyl parathion treatment were damaged.

Preparation method of triphenylphosphon

1. Phenol and phosphorus oxychloride are refluxed at 80 to 110°C in the presence of β-naphthol and anhydrous magnesium chloride, or the phosphorus oxychloride is The toluene solution is added dropwise to the phenol-toluene mixture containing 45% sodium hydroxide and water, and is obtained by vigorous stirring at 25-30°C. The yield of the latter method can reach more than 98%. The reaction formula is as follows:
3C6H5OH+POCl3→(C6H5O)3PO+3HCl

2. Triphenyl phosphorus can also be produced by oxidizing triphenyl phosphite with nitric acid in carbon tetrachloride.
