Precipitated silica is mainly used in the cosmetics industry. It is a colorless, transparent and shiny crystal and amorphous powder. It has high hardness, is odorless, chemically inert, insoluble in water and acid, and is soluble in concentrated alkali. It is used in cosmetics. Very stable within pH range.
