1.Organic zincProduct model
Colorless to slightly yellow transparent liquid with a special compound smell. The viscosity of different types of organic zinc varies greatly. It is an environmentally friendly catalytic system used in the field of polyurethane and complies with domestic and foreign environmental protection regulations; it is used as an auxiliary catalyst in conjunction with other metal catalysts.
2. Product characteristics
Organozinc is a very weak catalytic activityPolyurethane catalyst is not used alone in most cases, but is used in combination with organobismuth. The weak catalytic properties of organozinc make the materials flow for a long time after mixing, which is beneficial to construction operations; organozinc not only catalyzes the reaction of hydroxyl groups and isocyanates to form urethane, but also promotes other cross-linking side reactions, although the reaction rate is very low at room temperature. Slow, but still helpful for the cross-linking and later strength increase of polyurethane, the so-called post-curing.
3. Usage
Organozinc is recommended as an auxiliary catalyst in combination with organobismuth. For use, the specific compound ratio must be tested according to different formulas and process requirements to find a suitable bismuth-zinc ratio. Generally, the bismuth-zinc ratio is between 1:1-1:10, with 1:4 being the most common.
When using the bismuth-zinc compound, it is recommended to add polyol (component B, material P). It is best to add it after dehydration and stir evenly. . It is not recommended to add isocyanate components (component A, material I). If it must be added, be sure to conduct applicability and storage stability experiments first.
The dosage is related to the product system and hardness. Generally, the dosage of the compound is 0.1-1% of the weight of the P material.
Seal and store immediately after use.
