Two panel tests were conducted to show the effect of sensiva SC 50 on single fragrance ingredients. The tests evaluated the content of these ingredients on sniffing strips and in compound perfumes in different cosmetic formulations applied to the forearms. Compare the intensity of odor with or without sensiva SC 50 added to ingredients or formulas. Boost works by intensifying the scent by evaporating the fragrance more quickly shortly after application. Fixation is the process of prolonged evaporation that increases the staying power of a perfume. For the first panel test, typical examples of commonly used fragrance ingredients with different chemical structures and properties were chosen. In the second test, three different fragrance compositions were tested in massage oil, hair gel, eau de toilette, shampoo, oil-in-water emulsion and water-in-oil emulsion.
sensiva SC 50 had an effect on most tested enhancing and/or fixing aroma components. After a few hours, a fresher or softer appearance of the scent is observed in some fragrance ingredients. sensiva SC 50 can also enhance and fix perfume compositions in different cosmetic formulations. The less direct the fragrance, the stronger the enhancing and/or fixing effect of sensiva SC 50. In these formulations, the concentration of the perfume can be reduced by adding 0.5% sensiva SC 50.
