1. Organic bismuth Product description
Light yellow transparent liquid, color (APHA) ≤ 400; density 1.590g/ cm3 (25℃), viscosity 100±50m Pa.s (25℃); metal bismuth content 20±0.5%, has a special compound smell, and is easily soluble in commonly used polyurethane raw materials.
It does not contain restricted heavy metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, o-phenyl esters and other ingredients. It can pass strict environmental protection regulations such as the United States and the European Union, and is the ideal way to eliminate traditional organotin and mercury. , environmentally friendly substitutes for catalysts such as lead.
2. Performance description
1. WithOrganobismuthTypical characteristics of environmentally friendly catalysts;
2. Safe and environmentally friendly, it can replace organic bismuth in some applications Lead, mercury, tin;
3. Better hydrolysis stability than T9;
4. Promote NCO/OH reaction. In oily or water-based polyurethane, it can reduce the side reaction between water and NCO groups to a certain extent and reduce the generation of CO2. However, the selectivity of reducing the reaction between isocyanate and water is not as good as CUCAT. -HA/HAA/PD, etc.;
5. Good compatibility, can be used alone or in combination with other organometallic compounds.
3. Application fields
Generally used in various fields of polyurethane industry, such as elastomers, coatings, foams , sealants, PU synthetic leather, shoe materials, runways, etc.
IV. Usage
If used in polyurethane two-component composite material, It is recommended to add the polyol (Polyol, P material) component. It is recommended to add it after dehydration and stir evenly. The dosage is related to the product system and hardness. The general dosage is 0.02 to 0.5% of the weight of the P material.
It is not recommended to add isocyanate component (material I). If it must be added, the applicability and storage stability tests must be carried out first. Be sure to seal and store immediately after use.
5. Storage specifications
HDPE plastic barrel, 25/200kg/barrel. Organic bismuth is stored in a dry and cool warehouse, away from sunlight and rain. The shelf life is 24 months without opening.
