Paint Printing paste is a water-based color paste used for textile printing. The reasons for color paste bleeding can be found from the following four aspects:
1. Synthetic fiber fabric is a hydrophobic material, and the water-based slurry used for printing cotton fabrics is easy to penetrate. Such as polyester, nylon, polypropylene, etc., or blends with a high proportion of synthetic fibers. When printing synthetic fiber fabrics, use thick emulsified paste when preparing the paste to avoid diluting it with water. If dilution is necessary, use thin emulsified paste to dilute it. Do not dilute it directly with water.
2. The humidity in the air is too high. For example, if it is rainy for a long time in the south, less or no water should be added when preparing the slurry.
3. Cotton fabric is a natural cellulose fiber fabric and is a hydrophilic material. Generally not easy to penetrate. However, if the capillary effect is too high, it will also lead to infiltration. Therefore, the appropriate capillary effect is controlled at around 7-200PX. Before feeding materials, it is crucial to ask for the manufacturer’s technical specifications. If the capillary effect is too low, the print will not penetrate; if it is too high, it will cause bleeding.
4. Some companies use emulsified paste as a thickener, commonly known as A paste. It is emulsified with white oil, Pingpingjia and synthetic dragon glue under high-speed stirring. If there is a quality problem with the A-side pulp and it is not fully emulsified, an “oil ring” will appear after printing, which can easily cause bleeding effects. Therefore, good quality A-slurry should be used or synthetic thickener should be used to overcome the occurrence of “oil ring”.
There are many comprehensive factors that cause bleeding, such as the texture of the texture is too thin, too thin, and too light; the pattern area is too large; the mesh number of the mesh is too low; the pressure during operation is too high; the scraper cross section does not correspond to the pattern. The amount of slurry is too large, etc.
